Turbine Temperature Simulation

A digital twin of a jet turbine engine was created to simulate airflow through the different stages. The particle simulations show a heatmap that visualizes the temperature / compression of the air as it moves through the engine. The simulation is a high-level, educational mixed reality headset experience used to create awareness during trade shows.

Automotive Engine Disassembly Walkthrough

Our disassembly walkthrough was originally a Microsoft HoloLens 2 project that has been updated for the Meta Quest 3. It showcases how training is more effective when conducted in an immersive environment. The walkthrough allows a user to step through the disassembly process of an automotive engine, immersed in the process along with the help of audio / video in the form of a floating video plane and a wrist-attached menu.

Shuttle Explorer

Shuttle Explorer is an educational experience for the Meta Quest 3 showcasing immersive educational content that works in conjunction with a classroom lesson plan.

Lite QA

LiteQA was a prototype built for Lockheed Martin that used traditional computer vision to detect real-world objects given just a CAD model prior. Assemblies that were utilizing special fasteners were able to be detected as well as localized meaning the positioning of the fasteners could be verified to ensure accuracy to a certain degree of the fabricated part.

Beach Therapy: Breathe

A multi-sensory immersive VR simulation meant to relax using a breathing exercise on a virtual beach. Users are able to use a Polar external heart rate monitor to view their heart rate before and after the experience from inside the experience using the Polar SDK. The beach experience utilized can lights to simulate the heat of the sun as well as a DMX-controlled fan to simulate the wind.

The Haunted Mansion Experience

The Haunted Mansion is both a PCVR simulation that includes external sensory devices to create next-level immersion as well as a wireless experience using NVIDIA's CloudXR. The full experience includes DMX-controlled staging elements such as a fan, scent machine and a custom-designed water mister that are controlled through Unreal Engine.
